Back in action; Polls; Callum Hughes channels Hutson

Following a bye week, #2 Terriers return to action with a Thursday evening contest at Providence and then conclude the regular season with a Senior Day matinee against Vermont on Saturday.  While BU is locked into the #2 spot in the Hockey East standings, the road game on Thursday could determine where the Friars finish.

Polls

As the regular season concludes, the two national polls increasingly mirror the Pairwise rankings. Both have BC, BU, North Dakota and Denver as the top four teams. While Michigan State is 5th in Pairwise and Wisconsin is 6th, they are reversed in the polls. Among Hockey East teams, the Pairwise has Maine at #9, Providence at #10, UMass at #12 and UNH slipping to #18.
