Quinn Hutson joins leadership group; Women face off with Gophers; Keller named Utah captain

Check back on Saturday morning for our game day post.

Junior wing Quinn Hutson had been named an assistant captain, joining the leadership group with co-captains Ryan Greene and Shane Lachance and assistant Devin Kaplan.

The oldest of the three Hutsons to skate for the Terriers, Quinn had career highs of 18 goals and 18 assists last season, and registered a pair of hat tricks. His two-year totals are 33 goals and 64 points.

Among the enhancements: a state-of-the-art center hung display system, featuring high-definition screens; a cutting-edge Bose audio system; improved theatrical lighting; and top-of-the-line ice resurfacers called Engos.

The Frozen Four will return to Washington D.C.'s Capital One Arena in 2027 for the first time since the Terrier's 2009 National Championship win, 4-3 in overtime over Miami

Looking back

Clayton Keller has been named the first captain of the Utah Hockey Club. He joins Tony Amonte, Shawn McEachern, Keith Tkachuk, Chris Drury, Jack Eichel and Brady Tkachuk as Terriers who have worn the C in the NHL.

Now in his eighth NHL season, Keller's 45 points (21G,24A) led to the 2016-17 Terriers to the NCAA regionals, where he set up Charlie McAvoy for the 2OT game-winner against North Dakota.
