Looking back
Lane Hutson collected an assist and established the longest point streak by a rookie defenseman in @CanadiensMTL history. He broke a tie with Glen Harmon (6 GP in 1942-43) and Chris Chelios (6 GP in 1984-85; 2x).#NHLStats: https://t.co/T12R6WRn7N pic.twitter.com/IlCKOlzLYP

Lane Hutson's assist in the Canadians' 3-2 shootout win over the Ducks gave him assists in seven consecutive games. He's two behind Kevin Shattenkirk for second on the all-time list for rookie blueliners.
Hutson's 18 points--all assists--have him second among all rookie scorers. Macklin Celebrini is fifth with an 8-7-15 line.
tw-align-centerI love how Montreal fans love Lane Hutson. If there is one thing Canadien fans recognize and love, it's a big heart.
