Charlie Coyle assisted on Team USA’s first goal in a 2-1 win against Switzerland at the World Junior Championships. His backhand centering pass from behind the net set up Chris Kreider’s one-timer. Kreider told Inside College Hockey:
“That’s Charlie for you. He’s such an unbelievable player. I think I’m a year older than him, but I still learn so much from him every day. He’s mature beyond his years and a real good hockey player.”
Coyle leads Team USA with six points in three games.
