With a goal in both weekend games against BC, sophomore Evan
Rodrigues was named Hockey East co-Player of
the Week. Making the top performers list were Matt Grzeyck, Cason Hohmann, Wade
Megan and Matt O’Connor.
Terriers moved up again in the national rankings, now tied
for 7th in the USCHO poll.
And they moved up a notch in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine
poll to 9th. BU’s next
opponent, New Hampshire took over the top spot in both polls, so on Thursday
for the third consecutive game, BU will face the nation’s top-ranked team.

Looking ahead
2013 recruit Kevin Duane scored a goal and an assist in his second game with the Junior Bruins and has 3+1 in the two games.
Looking back
On the road again: Last week we reported that Chris Higgins had joined the ECHL Utah Grizzlies. Hope he didn't unpack. After two games, Higgins was traded to the Wheeling Nailers and will be playing former Terrier standout, Coach Clark Donatelli.
Adam Clendening scored his 4th of the season in
Rockford’s 4-1 win
against Charlotte.
Alex Chiasson’s shootout goal was the game-winner in AHL Texas’
4-3
win against Peoria. Chiasson, top
scorer for BU last season, also added an assist.
Women’s Team
Marie Philip Poulin’s third career hattrick and a pair of
assists in the Terriers’ sweep of Providence earned the BU co-captain Hockey
East Player
of the Week honors. BU was also
named WHEA Team of the Week and had four players on the top performers lists, Jenelle
Kohanchuk (50th career goal), Sarah Lefort (5 assists), Isabel
Menard (2 GWGs) and Kerrin Sperry (46
saves, 50th career win).
Terriers remained 7th in the USCHO poll, but are
in a tie for third in the Pairwise
Rankings.
