Game Day: #7 Terriers vs. #1 New Hampshire

Terriers head up to Durham for their third meeting of the season with top-ranked New Hampshire. The Wildcats won the first two meetings, 4-1 at UNH and 3-1 at BU.

Junior Sahir Gill (photo), who returns to the Terriers top line with the team's leading scorers, Cason Hohmann and captain Wade Megan, is the Terrier's top career scorer against UNH with nine points. His place on the third line will be taken by freshman Mike Moran. Matt O'Connor gets tonight's start with Sean Maguire expected to play Saturday against Maine.

UNH is led by two time Hockey East goalie of the month Casey Desmith and forward Kevin Goumas who leads the conference in scoring.

Tonight's game marks the Terriers third consecutive contest against the nation's #1 team. Last weekend, BU split a pair of games with BC, then the top-ranked team.

BU Today profiles freshman Matt Grzelcyk, who talks about his long-time goal of skating for his “dream school,”  being a quarterback on the ice and  being drafted by the Bruins; in the video, he explains that the he gets “pumped up” by the energy of BU Band and Terrier fans.
