#9/11 Terriers are on the road tonight in
Amherst for the final regular season meeting with UMass. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
BU won the two previous meetings back in October: 5-2 (at home) and 3-2 (away; video) on Sean Escobedo’s goal with 1:22
left in regulation. Sean Maguire, who was in net for the 3-2 win gets the start
tonight for BU.
The Boston Hockey Blog reports that senior
defenseman Ryan Ruikka (photo) will be in the lineup as right wing on the fourth line,
providing BU with some added depth on defense. A few months back, BU Today posted this
feature story on Ruikka’s Terrier career,
on and off the ice, which we missed, but has now been brought to our attention.
