2014 recruit Jack Eichel scored a hattrick
for the NTDP U17s in an 8-2
win against the Czech Republic during the Five Nations Tournament in
Jarvenpaa, Finland. Eichel also registered a pair of assists in a 5-1
win against the host team and a power play goal in a 4-3 loss to Sweden.
Eichel, who has a 19-14-33 scoring line in 34 games, leads the U17s in points

In the USHL’s first-ever outdoor hockey game, 2013 recruit
Robbie Baillargeon scored a pair of goals and added an assist for Omaha in the
Lancers’ 4-2 win
against Lincoln. In 43 games, he has a 16-19-35 scoring line and is the Lancers’
top scorer.
2013 recruit Doyle Somerby scored his first goal of the
season in top-ranked Kimball Union’s 8-0 blanking
of Exeter. In the Wildcats most recent game, the 6-5 Somerby set up their third
goal, but Philips Andover rallied for a 4-3 overtime time, dealing KUA (22-2-0)
only its second loss of the season.
In the 2013 Travis Roy Cup game, St. Sebastian’s edged
Tabor, 3-2 with the game-winner scored by Cory Ronan, son of former BU and NHL
forward Ed Ronan. The Arrows’ roster includes two future Terriers, 2013 recruit
Dalton MacAfee and 2013 or 2014 recruit and co-captain Tommy Kelley (#10) seen
in the post-game photo with former Terrier Travis Roy.
Looking back
Nick Bonino’s first career shootout
goal gave Anaheim a 6-5 win against St. Louis. Bonino also had an assist,
while Kevin Shattenkirk registered two helper for the Blues.

John McCarthy scored a pair of goals for Worcester in a 4-0 shutout
of St. John’s.
