Terriers are in the Nutmeg State to conclude their regular-season series with
new conference member Connecticut in a 3:30 p.m. start at the XL Center in
Hartford. The upstart Huskies have made their presence felt in Hockey East with
a shutout win against BC, a 4-4 tie
with BU and a 2-1 win over #11 Vermont last night, also at the XL Center.
UConn also tied Rensselaer and was blanked by AHA Sacred Heart.
In
the meeting at Agganis earlier in the month, Danny O’Regan (photo) scored a pair of
goals in a see-saw affair that saw the Terriers make up one-goal deficits twice. The junior forward from Needham has points in eight of the nine regular-season games and, with six goals and eight assists, has compiled two-thirds as many points as he tallied last season.
