This morning Hockey East announced schedule changes including the postponement of tonight's scheduled BU-BC game at Conte Forum
AMESBURY, Mass. - The Hockey East Association announced today the following schedule update:
Due to inclement weather, the Hockey East Women’s Tournament quarterfinal, Maine at Boston College, scheduled for Friday, February 25, will now begin at 7:00 p.m. The game will air on NESN.
As a result, the Boston University at Boston College men’s game, originally scheduled for Friday, February 25 at 7:00p.m., has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 27, at 4:00 p.m. The game will air on NESN.

As the final two weekends of the
regular season begin, #13/14 Terriers will face off in a home-and-home series
with Comm. Ave. rival Boston College. Tonight’s game at Conte Forum begins at 7
p.m. and will air on NESN with a live stream available for those outside New
England.
The teams have met 285 times since 2017, including a 3-3 overtime tie in December with BC winning the shootout. BU leads the series 136-128-21.
BU is currently tied for fifth place with Northeastern in a seven-team race for the five first-round playoff byes. It will conclude the regular season next weekend with a pair of games at Maine.
The Eagles, currently in eighth place, were 10-5-3 at the end of 2021, but since then have gone 1-11-2. The victory came last weekend, a 4-1 road win against Northeastern. U.S.Olympians Marc McLaughlin, the team’s top scorer with 19 goals and 25 points, and defenseman Drew Helleson (19 points) returned last weekend for the series with NU. Canadian Olympian Jack McBain (13-11-24) is back, as well. Senior transfer Brandon Kruse has 22 points. Eric Dop, a transfer from Bowling Green, has handled the bulk of the goaltending and has a 3.04 GAA and an .891 save percentage.
During the past 15 games, BU has averaged 3.75 goals per game, while yielding 1.47. The offense is led by Dom Fensore (25 points), Wilmer Skoog (24), Robert Mastrosimone (22) and Jay O’Brien (20). Mastrosimone is the top goal-scorer with 11, while Skoog has found the net 10 times. Drew Commesso, back from Beijing, has an 8-1-1 record in his last ten games, allowing just 17 goals over that span. Vinny Duplessis is 4-0 in February and has a 1.60 GAA overall.

2023 recruit Doug Grimes scored his third goal in Lincoln’s 7-6 win against Fargo.
Women’s Team
Freshman netminder Callie Shanahan was unanimously voted to Hockey East’s All-Rookie Team. The Commerce, Mich., native, who is the fourth Terrier goalie to be named All-Rookie, posted a 2.36 GAA and a .926 save percentage in 20 appearances, including a 42-save effort in a 1-1 tie against Providence last week.
