Following a bye week, Terriers slipped three spots to #14 in the DCU/USCHO weekly poll, as Penn State, Providence and Harvard—the sole remaining undefeated team at 4-0-0—leapfrogged BU. The Terriers' next opponent, UMass dropped from #5 to #11 after being swept by Providence.

BU also is #14 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, having dropped on spot from the previous week.
In College Hockey News' Power Rankings (KRACH), the Terriers are #6, just ahead of Providence, Connecticut, Lowell and UMass.
In the latest Pairwise rankings, BU moves up to #7, behind #4 Providence, #5 Connecticut and #6 UMass, and ahead of #11 UMass Lowell. Merrimack slots in at #20.

Looking ahead
2023 recruit Jack Harvey scored a pair of third-period goals as Chicago rallied from a 5-2 deficit, but fell one score short as the steel dropped a 6-5 decision to Madison. Harvey added an assist for a three-point night. He also scored twice in Friday's win, including a 3-on-5 shorthander, against Green Bay. With five points over the weekend, the 5-10, left-shot forward vaulted to the top of the USHL scoring chart with 19 points (10G,9A).

recorded his 10th assist for the Lumberjacks, which is the co-leader among USHL
defensemen in that category.

2023 recruit Doug Grimes notched his sixth goal in Lincoln's 5-3 win against Sioux City. The Brookline, Mass., power forward is tied for 16th in league scoring with 12 points.

2023 recruit Aiden Celebrini, older brother of Macklin Celebrini, has the moves, too. The 6’1” right-shot defenseman’s second goal was the game-winner in AJHL Brooks’ 7-2 win against Whitecourt. He also added his fifth assist.
At the World U17 Challenge, 2024 recruit Cole Hutson assisted on a pair of goals in Team USA’s 8-3 win against Sweden. Kamil Bednarik also had a helper. Hutson is fourth in scoring in the tournament with five points and leads all defensemen.
2023 recruit Macklin Celebrini, who has a goal and an assist in the tournament, is featured in a U17 Challenge video profile— Hockey Canada-U17: The Making of Macklin.
2023 recruit Jack Gorton had a career best five-point game (G,4A) in BCHL Victoria’s 7-2 win against Trail. The 6’3”, 200 lb., right wing has 13 points (4G,9A) in 16 games and is tied for second in scoring for the Grizzlies.
Gorton is one of two BU recruits whose father is an executive with an NHL team. Jeff Gorton, who was in attendance at Sunday's win, is executive vice president of the Montreal Canadiens. 2024 recruit Jack Pridham, a right-shot forward at St. Andrews College, is the son of Brandon Pridham, assistant general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Trevor Zegras assisted on a pair of goals and scored in the shootout as the Ducks edged the Sharks, 6-5. Nick Bonino also had a shootout goal for San Jose.
Women's Team
Terriers dropped a 4-1 decision to #12 Providence on Saturday, giving the Friars a sweep of the home-and-home series. Catherine Foulem scored BU's only goal, knotting the score at 1-1, before Providence scored the final three.
