Looking back
Shane Bowers is heading back to New England, acquired by the Bruins today in a trade with the Avalanche. Originally drafted by Ottawa and then traded to Colorado, the Nova Scotia native played two season with the Terriers. He scored 32 points as a freshman in 2017-18, helping BU to a Hockey East title and earning a spot on the All-Rookie team. He scored 21 points in 2018-19 before turning pro that Spring.
Bowers, who made his NHL debut earlier this season in a one-game call-up to the Avs, has played 154 games with the AHL Colorado Eages, producing a 27-32-59 scoring line.
