After capturing Hockey East Player of the Month honors for January, Lane Hutson was named National Rookie of the Month by the Hockey Commissioners Association. He's the fifth Terrier to win the award, which was introduced in 2007: Kieran Miller (2009), Jack Eichel (2015), Clayton Keller (2017) and Joel Farabee (2019).

Coach Jay Pandolfo Media Call
On having no game this
weekend: “It gives us an opportunity to reset, have some really good practices,
work on things we can improve on and go from there.”
On Monday’s consolation game: It’s certainly not a throwaway game. It’s probably better that we’re playing BC. All the games are big for us. Both teams will get up for this so I think there will be energy on both sides. It’s an important game, especially for us, to bounce back from the loss.”
On injuries to Jamie Armstrong and Ethan Phillips: “Armstrong still has not skated. Phillips practiced yesterday and today looks pretty good. We’ll skate Saturday and Sunday and we’ll see how he responds in those two practices. He’s probably 50-50 for Monday.”
►During Monday’s Beanpot coverage on NESN, an interview with Matt Brown recalls the passing of his mother just prior to last year’s Beanpot tournament and the support he received from Terrier teammates.
