goals in Sunday's preliminary round games at the IIHF World U18 Championships.

2024 recruit Cole Hutson picked up his
fifth assist—tops among all defensemen—in Team USA’s 8-4 win
over Finland. He now has 61 points, third best for any NTDP defenseman.
The Daily Faceoff is reporting that the
third Hutson brother, whose game is strikingly similar to older brother Lane’s,
already is prominent on scouts’ radar for the 2024 draft. His NTDP coach Dan
Muse says:
“When he has the puck in the offensive
zone on power-play situations, the way he’s able to navigate the ice, the way
he’s able to manipulate opponents and the vision that he has… he can break
coverage in all three zones. He can escape forecheck pressure, deep forecheck,
he can escape in the neutral zone. He has a very good feel of when to move it
and when it’s time to hold it.”

now plays professionally for the Connecticut Whale.
