Looking ahead

Current rosters for the NTDP's U18 and U17 are now posted. Both 2024 Terrier recruits have grown since last season. Defenseman Cole Hutson is up to 5'10 and 158, while center Kamil Bednarik now is 6'0" and 186. The U18s will visit Agganis Arena on October 14 for an exhibition game against BU.

Looking back

The Dallas Stars posted highlights of Jake Oettinger's 2022-23 season, as the former Terrier standout has become one of the NHL's top young netminders.

NHL.com looks at why Pittsburgh believes Matt Nieto will be an important addition to Coach Mike Sullivan's bottom six. California native Nieto points out:

"I think throughout my career, whenever injuries arise, I'm kind of one of those players that can go up and down the lineup and complement top players in the top six. Or when I'm playing in the bottom six, just being a good guy to play with down there as well. So, I think I bring a lot of a lot of versatility in that way."
