The Carolina Hurricanes' third-round draft pick in 2019, he was the only league skater with two multi-point games this past weekend, and finished with a league-high four points (3g, 1a). In the past four games, Fensore has scored five goals and registered two primary assists. Last season, he earned Defender of the Week honors three times.
Fensore's GWG on Friday also earned NESN's Beast of the East designation.

► NHL.com spoke with Rob Huston, father of a pair Terrier freshmen, about younger son Lane Hutson’s entry draft experience (2nd round to Montreal) and what drives his passionate approach to improving his game.
Rob enjoyed mentoring a self-motivated Lane as a youngster.
"He was always like 'Hey, Dad!' - whether it was in the driveway or whatever - he'd want to work on saucer passes or this or that. Even though I worked with him considerably, he did all the work himself. If I spent 20 minutes working on passing with him, Lane would do two hours on his own when we were done. He would even make crazy requests like 'I don't feel like I'm conditioned enough, can you bag skate me?' I remember little things like that."

Junior Vinny Duplessis raised his career record to 14 wins and five losses. “[Vinny’s] a gamer. He enjoys playing in big games,” Coach Jay Pandolfo said. “We know if Drew’s not going to play, Vinny’s going to step in. He’s always going to be good.”
Saturday’s win makes it an even dozen losses to BU in a row for New Hampshire. Terriers are 13-0-2 in the last 15 against the Wildcats with the most recent BU loss coming in 2014-15.
Nine goals in the two wins improved the Terriers’ GPG to 3.75, tied for fifth in Division 1.
With 17 points in 14 games, Lane Hutson is 2nd in the nation in points per (1.21) game among D1 defensemen.
