Game Day: BU vs. UConn in Hartford

#7/6 Terriers travel to Hartford to take on #8 UConn at the XCel Center. Puck drop is at 2 p.m. for the contest that will live stream on ESPN+.

Both teams--Hockey East's highest ranked squads-- are coming off troubling losses. The Terriers lost on Friday to BC, 9-6, on the road. The Huskies' last game was 7-3 defeat by Merrimack on Dec. 2.

The teams split a pair of games at Agganis Arena in October, with UConn taking a 4-3 overtime win on Friday and the Terriers responding with a 5-2 victory the next night. At stake are three critical points in the Hockey East standings and the tie-breaker should the teams finish tied in the conference.

All-American Ryan Tverberg, who scored three times in the two October games, paces UConn's offense with 10 goals and 17 points. Freshman Matthew Wood has a 5-9-14 line and Andrew Lucas, who scored the overtime winner, has 13 points.
