ERod and Greer win the Cup; US Olympic picks; Bonino retires, joins Pens' staff; Amico interview

With the Florida Panthers' Cup-clinching 5-1 win over Edmonton, a pair of Terriers raised Lord Stanley's Cup on the ice at Amerant Bank Arena, Evan Rodrigues for a second time and A.J. Greer for the first time. Greer, in his first season with Florida became the 13th Terrier to win the Cup. ERod was part of Florida's first-ever Cup win a year ago.

A third BU connection is former Terrier Paul Fenton, who is a senior advisor to the Panthers' GM, Bill Zito. This is the third consecutive season that a Terrier has won the Cup with Jack Eichel and the Vegas Knights' claiming the trophy in 2022-23.

Rodrigues joins four other BU alums who have their names on the silver trophy twice: Mike Sullivan and Nick Bonino (2016 & 2017 Pittsburgh), Jay Pandolfo (2000 & 2003 New Jersey) and Scott Young (1991 Pittsburgh and 1996 Colorado)

Rodrigues had a 15-17-32 line in 82 regular-season games and followed it up with 15 points (2G,13A) in 21 playoff games. Greer skated in 81 games, producing a career-best 17 points and six goals. In the playoffs, he had a pair of goals and an assist.

The pair also were teammates on the 2015 Terriers, winning the Beanpot and the Hockey East Championship and reaching the national championship game.
