#5 BU kicks off the second semester with a home match-up with #10 Union College tonight. Game time is 7 p.m. for the contest that will be live-streamed free on Campus Insider.
With seven players in Montreal for the World Junior Championship gold-medal game, the Terriers will only have 17 skaters—11 forwards, six defensemen—and two goalies available for the game.
Union has feasted on Hockey East opponents in recent years, going 19-2-2 in the last 23 games, including last season’s 5-3 win against the Terriers in BU’s season opener. BU will be looking to slow down the Dutchmen’s one-two punch of Mike Vecchione, the nation’s top scorer with an 18-19-37 scoring line, and Spencer Foo with 21-14-35. Senior goalie Alex Sakellaropoulos brings a 2.39 GAA and .922 save percentage into the game.
Junior goalie Connor LaCouvee will be in goal for BU and the Boston Hockey Blog reported that Coach David Quinn will keep the Nick Olsson-Patrick Curry-Nick Roberto line intact. Tonight's BU’s line-up

Kelley, a former standout at St. Sebastian’s, returns to the BU line-up after missing the last five games with an injury. He has eight career points.
Warsofsky, a member of the defense corps that backboned BU’s 2009 national championship team, is currently with Pittsburgh’s top AHL team, where he’s the leading scorer (5-17-22) among defensemen. He’s played 36 NHL games with Boston, New Jersey and Pittsburgh.
