24-25 roster revealed; Practice begins; Looking ahead: Roster projections and more

The 2024-25 roster has been posted on the BU Athletics site. Three goalies, eight defensemen and 15 fowards. Nine newcomers: six freshmen and three transfers.

And the Terriers have hit the ice for their first practice.

 

Neutral Zone's ranking of freshman classes has the Terriers slotted at #6 overall and second in Hockey East.

►Completed renovations at Agganis Arena include a new sound system and a new videoboard (click here), as well as enhancements to Terrier displays and concession areas. Upgrades at Walter Brown Arena include a center-hung Daktronics video board and enhancements to the arena entrance and coaches' offices.

McKeen's Hockey offers an early projection of the top U.S. prospects for the 2025 NHL draft with four Terriers among the 12 names listed with profiles and video clips: D Sascha Boumedienne is #3, D Charlie Trethewey (photo) is #6, F Jack Murtagh is #8 and F Conrad Fondrk was an honorable mention.  While Boumedienne is Swedish, he has grown up in the U.S., so is included on the list.

Women's Team

Before beginning their second season as Terriers the Welcke twins are representing Germany in a Four Nations tournament.
