Summer Showcase invitees; All-Academics; Letter from Capt. Curry; TRF Wiffle Ball Challenge



Eight skaters with Terrier connections have been named to the 43-man Team USA roster for the 2020 World Junior Summer Showcase in Plymouth, Michigan, beginning July 24. Returnees Robert Mastrosimone, Domenick Fensore, Case McCarthy and Alex Vlasic are joined by incoming freshmen Drew Commesso, Dylan Peterson and Luke Tuch, as well as Trevor Zegras, who has turned pro.

A program-record eleven Terriers have been named to Hockey East’s 2019-20 All-Academic Team.  Gabriel Chabot was recognized for the second time in his career while 10 others were first-time honorees: Patrick Curry, Alex Brink, Sam Tucker, Kasper Kotkansalo and Jake Witkowski, and five freshmen Jamie Armstrong, Markus Boguslavsky, Sean Driscoll, Case McCarthy and Sam Stevens

Women’s Team 
A program-record 17 Terriers, including all members of the Class of 2020, have been named to the Hockey East All-Academic team.  Seniors Alexandra Calderone, Deziray De Sousa and Natasza Tarnowski graduated as Distinguished Scholars having qualified for the All-Academic team all four seasons at BU.

Goalies Corinne Schroeder and Kate Stuart and incoming freshman Adrianna Calderone have been invited to Hockey Canada’s National Women’s Development Team Summer Camp, which will be held virtually. BU assistant coach Tara Watchorn will again be an assistant for the National U18 team.
