Just like most Thanksgiving dinners, there were plenty of "leftovers" from Wednesday's 3-2 win in a matchup between top-5 teams. Here are some of the best:

►BU Hockey Writer Scott Weighart looks at the Terriers’ fourth one-goal win against ranked opponents in November. He also spoke to Luke Tuch about the Terriers’ resilience and their “surrender the outcome” slogan and to Mathieu Caron about his approach to goaltending and his recruitment when he entered the portal.

►Macklin Celebrini's second entry into his 2023 Draft Diary for NHL.com reports on Thanksgiving at the Lachances, looking forward to Red Hot Hockey at Madison Square Garden, and the Terriers' growing chemistry and resiliency.
NCAA Hockey Highlights prepared an 11 ½ minute extended highlights reel of Wednesday’s 3-2 win including standout saves by both goalies and near goals in the first two periods as well as five tallies in the final period.
►College Hockey News: This Week in College Hockey: Nov. 23
BU is beginning to look a lot like the team we thought was the preseason No. 1 in September. The Terriers are on a five-game winning streak after Wednesday's win over Quinnipiac.
►Since the last Red Hot Hockey game (11-27-21), BU’s record is 53-18-2 (.740). Over that period, the Terriers’ home ice record is 27-5-1 (.833). Of those 5 home losses, only one was in regulation: a 2-0 loss to Northeastern with an ENG.
►BU Hockey Historian Sean Pickett has authored two chart comparing the scoring of current Terriers to past BU standouts. The first shows the game-by-game point totals of Macklin Celebrini alongside those of Jack Eichel, Sean McEachern, John Cullen, Rick Meagher and Jack Garrity.
The second chart features BU's top lines overall since the start of Hockey East (plus 1949-50 and 1950-51 with Garrity). The line totals are based the line sheets for each game. The recently formed Pallindrome Line of Tuch, Celebrini and Quinn Hutson is averaging 4.75 points per game.
►In two prior career appearances (while at Brown) against Quinnipiac, Caron was on the short end of a 4-3 decision last season and 1-0 loss the prior season in which he stopped 34 shots.
►Colby Cohen tweeted: Shane Lachance won’t necessarily get a lot of PP assists but the job he is doing in front of the net is incredible. Hutson, Celebrini, Greene, etc will all score more goals from distance because of Lachance.
►Following Wednesday’s win, The Boston Hockey Blog’s Brian Foisy opined on “Five things BU Hockey fans should be thankful for.”
►At the end of the game, Quinnipiac was assessed a bench misconduct penalty to Coach Rand Pecknold. Our friend Sasquatch sheds some light on the incident.
From about 10 feet away, he was mouthing off to the ref who was standing by the time keeper’s box. The other ref was encouraging Rand to can it. Looks like he was signaling that he was upset the refs didn’t review a goal for off-sides.

►BU is the fourth Hockey East team to defeat defending champion Quinnipiac this season, but the first to do so in regulation. BC, New Hampshire and Maine all edged the Bobcats in overtime. QU’s record vs. Hockey East is now 2-4-0
