Terriers
travel to Merrimack tonight and try to rebound after letting one slip away
Wednesday against Harvard. The Daily Free Press reports that the seniors called
a players-only meeting Thursday, followed by a full practice, which Coach Jack
Parker called “fabulous.”
BU will be
seeking to focus on a better defensive effort after allowing six goals in each of the
two losses since second semester began. The game at Lawler Arena begins at 7:30
p.m.
In the season's first meeting between the teams, BU beat the Warriors, 3-1, paced by senior Captain Wade Megan's three points, on Nov. 9, also at Lawler.
Freshman Sean Maguire,
who has won his past four starts, gets the call in the BU goal, while sophomore
defenseman Alexx Privitera, who sat out the past two games, returns to the
lineup. The Free Press reported the following expected lineup:
Megan-Hohmann-Gill
Nieto-O’Regan-Rodrigues
Moran-Myron-Kurker
Lane-Rosen--Santana
Escobedo-Privitera
Noonan-MacGregor
Grzelcyk-Oksanen
Maguire
The Warriors
are led by Mike Collins (9-12-21), who was a teammate of Terrier junior d-man Garrett Noonan in high
school and with the BCHL Vernon Vipers.
