Game Day: Harvard Crimson visit Terriers - UPDATED

The Harvard Crimson will be at Agganis Arena tonight to take on the #8 ranked Terriers (11-6-0), a 7pm start. After a strong start to the season, the Crimson (4-7-1) have struggled, going 0-5-1 in their last six games. Harvard is led by freshman Jimmy Vesey (5g, 3a), who should be in the lineup after returning from the World Junior Championships in Ufa, Russia, where the USA took home the gold medal. Tonight's match-up is being broadcast by NBC Sports.

For the Terriers, Matt O'Connor gets the start in net, looking to bounce back from the 6-0 loss to Denver. Alexx Privitera will sit out the game, due to coach Jack Parker's decision to punish him for excessive penalties in the loss to the Pioneers. Additionally, the Boston Hockey Blog is reporting that Wade Megan is probable for the game, after missing the RPI game with an injured shoulder. Additionally, Garrett Noonan may miss the game with the flu. If he does, BHB reports that Matt Ronan will play in just his third career game for the Terriers. Last year, Noonan's overtime goal capped a Terrier comeback from a 3-1 deficit at Harvard's Bright Arena. Megan had a big game against the Crimson a couple weeks later, scoring two goals in BU's 3-1 win in the Beanpot Opener.

Update: Noonan is expected to play. The lines:

The #6 women's team beat UConn, 4-2, behind a goal and two assists from Sophomore forward Kayla Tutino. The Terriers (12-3-3) ran their unbeaten streak to eight games.
