Gryba signs, Bonino scores

Senior assistant captain Eric Gryba has signed a three-year contract with Ottawa and joined the Senators’ AHL affiliate in Binghamton. A third-round round draft choice in 2006, Gryba’s first pro game is likely to come this Friday against two former Terrier teammates, Brian Strait and John Curry of Wilkes Barre/Scranton. The Sens and Baby Pens will play three times in April.

Nick Bonino registered his first NHL goal last night in Anaheim’s 3-1 win against Dallas. His power play marker (video) earned him first star of the game honors. Teemu Selanne, who assisted on the goal, retrieved the milestone puck for Bonino, who skated on the Ducks’ top line.
