Looking Back Linkorama



Nick Bonino made his first NHL start for Anaheim last night in the Ducks 3-2 win against Ryan Whitney’s Edmonton Oilers. Bonino, who had 1 shot and 1 penalty in 13+ minutes, is the fifth member of the Terrier’s 2008-09 team to play in the NHL this season, joining Matt Gilroy, Colin Wilson, Brandon Yip and John McCarthy.

Zach Cohen picked up his first pro point, an assist, in Lake Erie's 3-2 OT loss to Houston.

Injured Colorado Avs forward Yip (shoulder) has resumed skating, but is wearing a non-contact jersey.

McCarthy, now back in the AHL, scored his 13th goal for Worcester in a 7-2 loss to Hershey in which Chris Bourque recorded a pair of assists.

Pete MacArthur picked up his 8 goal of the season and an assist in Rocklford’s 4-3 win against Peoria.

Brian Strait is +17 for the Wilkes Barre Penguins, best among the Baby Pens defensemen. He has 2-10-12 in 70 games.



Chris Higgins has 15 points in 18 games since joining ECHL Gwinnett, while Jason Lawrence has 23 points for the Gladiators
