Fans Vote for Top Terrier Hockey Moment; Commesso to WJCs

As part of the season-long activities marking the 100th year of Terrier hockey, BU is asking fans to vote for the most memorable event in program history. Sixteen milestone events have been organized into Frozen Four style brackets. Fan voting will determine which ones advance to the next round until there is an overall winner.

 Looking back

The NHL spotlight has shone on several Terriers this season, including Trevor Zegras with his amazing assist, Brady Tkachuk becoming the Senators' youngest captain and his recent hat trick and Joel Farabee's hot start (8 points in 8 games) before a shoulder injury sidelined him.

A bit under the radar until recent, Evan Rodrigues has been generating a breakout season for Pittsburgh. With a spate of injuries at the forward position, Coach Mike Sullivan moved ERod to the Penguins' top line and the Toronto native has taken full advantage of the opportunity.

Following a 3-point (G,2A) night--and 1st star honors--in a 5-2 win over Montreal, Rodrigues stands second on the team in scoring with 22 points.  A fan favorite in Pittsburgh, his nine goals equals his career best and he's on pace to bust past his top point total of 29, both coming in 2018-19 while with Buffalo.

With Farabee on the injured list, Max Willman is back in the Flyers’ lineup and scored his second NHL goal in Philly’s 3-2 loss to Montreal.

Women’s Team

Once again, Marie Philip Poulin delivered for Canada in a match-up with Team USA. She scored the overtime game-winner in a 2-1 win in the My Why Tour on Wednesday.
