After five road games, #15/14 Terriers finally return to Agganis Arena for their home opener. They'll face #16 Connecticut in the back end of the home-and-home series, looking to earn a split after losing Thursday in overtime.

The positives for BU from Friday's game: Four goals scored; the first power-play goal of the season; nearly 20 minutes of O-zone possession; 50 shots (per LiveStats); 25 scoring chances, including 15 Grade A's; strong breakouts; and, as Coach Jay Pandolfo noted, "They never quit," even when down two goals late in the third.

The negatives: Defensive breakdowns led to nearly all the Huskies goals; first power play goal allowed; and another pre-game bench penalty for players joining warm-up too soon. That also happened two years ago in Mikhail Yegorov's first game for BU.

Ryder Ritchie with three goals in the last two games is BU's leading scorer. Jack Murtagh assisted on two BU goals Friday--Kamil Bednarik’s and Ritchie’s. He has five points in five games, nearly half of his freshman total of 11.
