Aaaaaand….postponed for this weekend; 18 Terriers on NHL rosters


Hockey East has announced that the home-and-home series scheduled with UMass for this weekend has been postponed. The Terriers are scheduled to host Maine for two games on Jan. 22 and 23.

Looking ahead

2022 recruit Anton Castro stopped 32 of 33 shots to backstop the NAHL Northeast Generals to a 2-1 win against the Maine Nordiques. The Minnesota native, who played for the North Jersey Avalanche last season, has a .920 save percentage in five games with the Generals.

Looking back

The 2020-21 NHL season has started with 18 Terriers rostered, including two on taxi squads. Seven others who attended NHL training camps have been assigned to AHL teams.

Keller scored his first goal of the season and added an assist in Arizona’s 4-3 shootout loss to San Jose.

Eichel assisted on a pair of goals in the Sabres’ 6-4 loss to the Capitals.
