Both the men's and women's team will play home-and-home series with Hockey East rivals this weekend. The women are at Merrimack today and home on Friday, while the men are home Friday against Lowell--the final doubleheader of the semester--and at Tsongas Arena Saturday.

►2025 recruit Jack Murtagh scored twice, including the overtime game-winner as the NTDP U18s defeated Sweden, 3-2, in the opening game of the Five Nations Tournament in the Czech Republic. The East Greenbush, N.Y., native was named U.S. Player of the Game.

Murtagh, a 6'1", 198 left wing, missed nine games earlier this season due to an injury, but is second on the U18s with nine points (6G,3A) in six games.
2025 or 2026 recruit Carter Amico, a 6'6" defenseman, assisted on the third U.S. goal.

U18s continue Five Nations play tomorrow evening in Sobeslav, Czechia.
Team USA will square off with Finland at 12:00 p.m. ET. The game can be

2025 recruit Callum Hughes scored a short-handed goal, assisted by fellow recruit Jack Pridham, as West Kelowna blanked Penticton, 3-0. It was the team-leading eighth goal for Hughes, who, contrary to the item we posted Tuesday, has not left the BCHL for the USHL. Pridham, a Chicago Blackhawks draft pick, recorded his fifth assist.

Haoxi Simon Wang’s trio of assists helped King Rebellion rally from a 4-1 deficit in the third period to beat Markham, 6-5 in OJHL action. He assisted on both the tying goal in the third and the game-winner on a power play in overtime. The 6’6” left-shot defenseman is #50 in Scott Wheeler’s ranking for the 2025 NHL draft.

BU Hockey Stats reports "Through 14 games with the Penguins this season, former Terrier Captain and Beanpot Hall of Famer Matt Grzelcyk already has 7 pts, he had 11 pts in 63 GP last season."
Women’s Team
#15 Terriers begin a home-and-home series with Merrimack this evening at Lawler Rink in North Andover. Puck drop tonight is at 6 p.m. for the contest that will be live streamed on ESPN+.
BU defeated the Warriors, 7-1, in its season opener at Agganis Arena with its highest offensive output of the campaign.
Freshman Lola Reid leads Hockey East in both goals (7) and points (13). Junior Clara Yuhn has five goals, while senior Christina Vote has eight assists. Captain Tamara Giaquinto paces the defense with a 3-3-6 scoring line.
Senior goalie Callie Shanahan, the conference’s Goaltender of the Month for October, tops Hockey East with a 1.17 GAA and a .957 save percentage.
