LATE UPDATE--Due to technical difficulties, there will be no live stream on CBS All-Access tonight.
Terriers kick off their Hockey East season on the road
tonight against UMass Lowell at Tsongas Center with puck drop set for 7 p.m.
The game will air on NESN with lives streams available on NESNgo and CBS All-Access
(for those outside of New England).
The River Hawks (3-2-1) are coming off a tough weekend home series with Colgate, losing to the Red Raiders in overtime, 4-3, and playing to a scoreless tie the next night. The previous weekend, Lowell split a pair of one-goal games with defending NCAA champion Minnesota-Duluth, on the road.
Lowell’s attack is headed by senior Kenny Hausinger (3G,4A), and three freshmen: Matt Brown (2g,5A), Carl Berglund (2G,3A) and Andre Lee (3G,1A). The River Hawks strength has been in goal, yielding just 10 goals in six games. Senior Tyler Wall, a New York Rangers draft pick, has a stingy 1.18 GAA and an efficient .953 save percentage.

Senior captain Patrick Curry, classmate Patrick Harper (photo) and
junior David Farrance pace BU’s attack with five points each. Curry is the top
goal-scorer with four. Freshman Trevor Zegras, who centers for the two Patricks
of the Terriers’ top line, has four points. If Logan Cockerill, injured last Saturday
against Northern Michigan, is unavailable, BU, which is already missing several forwards
due to injuries, will likely have some new line combinations.
Last season, BU and Lowell split their two regular-season contests. The teams met in the Hockey East quarterfinals with the Terriers taking the series in three games on the road.
