Looking ahead
The Beast Series, which brings together 19 of the best midget programs in New England and the Northeast, completed its playoffs last weekend and New England Hockey Journal has selected all-star teams for the 18U, 16U and 15U divisions. Terrier commits selected: 18U First Team, F Quinn Hutson (2021, NJ Avalanche), 16U First Team, F Ryan Greene (2022 Selects Academy) and Lane Hutson (2022 NJ Avalanche); 16U Third Team F Devin Kaplan (2022 NJ Avalanche). Greene's Selects Academy team claimed the 16U playoff title. The 6'1" center from Newfoundland has a 13-17-30 line in 22 games and also spent a weekend playing for  Green Bay, who had drafted him #3 overall in the USHL Futures draft. The 15U all-stars included a player with a BU connection: Selects Academy defenseman Shaun McEwen, is the grandson of BU standout and associate head coach Don "Toot" Cahoon.

2020 recruit Liam Connors, who scored 43 points in 29 games as a senior at St. Sebastian’s, is with the Boston Junior Eagles 18Us this season. 2022 recruit Nick Roukounakis, skating this fall for the Junior Eagles 16Us, scored 15 points last season for Coach Tony Amonte’s Thayer Academy team.
