In the Bruins’ 7-4 win over the Rangers, Charlie
Coyle scored his first goal of the season on a sharp angle shot, following
Charlie McAvoy’s rush and pass across the goalmouth. Coyle also added an assist.The game featured
three Terriers on the ice—Coyle, McAvoy and Matt Grzelcyk—and three behind the
benches—Rangers’ head coach David Quinn and Bruins’ assistants Jay Pandolfo and
Joe Sacco.

Former
Terrier Cason Hohmann has rejoined HC Bansk Bystrica in Slovakia after spending
last season in Switzerland with EHC Olten, scoring 57 points in 44 games. An
assistant captain on the Terriers’ 2015 Hockey East champions and national
finalist squad, Hohmann skated for HC Banska in 2017-18, putting up a team-high
47 points in 51 games for the Slovakian Extraliga champions. In his four
seasons at BU, the Texas native had 92 points.

Following their weekend sweep of Penn State, Terriers moved up to #9 in the USCHO Weekly Poll. BU’s next opponent, Northeastern is ranked #4.
A trio of Terriers--Kaleigh Donnelly, Julia Nearis and Kate Stuart--earned spots on the Hockey East Weekly Top Performers list. Donnelly recorded a goal and an assist in each of the weekend wins. Freshman Nearis produced her first two-goal effort in Saturday's victory, in which Stuart stopped 21 of 22 PSU shots. Her .955 save percentage was second best in the conference last weekend.
