Terriers gained an important two points with a 4-1 road
win at New Hampshire. Trevor Zegras led the way with a goal and two assists,
while Sam Tucker stopped 26 shots to earn the win.
With the victory, BU moves into fourth place in Hockey
East, just a point behind BC and Lowell with five games remaining.
Despite a slow start, BU took a 1-0 lead midway through
the opening period when Wilmer Skoog connected from the right circle assisted
by Kasper Kotkansalo and Alex Vlasic and with Matt Quercia screening goaltender Mike
Robinson.

Late in the period with the Terriers on a 5-on-3 power
play, Patrick Harper fired from the top of the right circle beating Robinson
high to the stick side for his 40th career goal. Zegras and Farrance
assisted.

Early in the second period, UNH’s Chase Stevenson got
behind the BU defense and beat Tucker to cut the lead in half. But two minutes
later Zegras’s shot from the high slot deflected past Robinson to restore the
two-goal margin. Patrick Curry and Jamie Armstrong assisted.

Farrance leads all Division 1 defensemen with 14 goals,
37 points and nine power play goals.
"Overall, we played a smart game, stayed out of the penalty box," said Coach Albie O'Connell. "I thought our discipline was really good."
He added, "In the third period, we did a good job of managing the game," noting an improvement over some games earlier in the season.
