Senior Patrick Harper has signed a two-year entry-level contract with Nashville, which had drafted him in the fifth round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. The diminutive wing scored 37 points (13G,24A) this season bringing his career total to 115 (41G,74A). A Hockey East All-Rookie honoree in 2015-16, he was a third team All-star this season. Harper joins a Predators organization whose roster includes

Terriers defeated defending Hockey East champion UMass Lowell, 5-3, to claim
their eighth Hockey East Tournament Championship. Matt O’Connor stopped 22
River Hawk shots and improved his record to 23-3-4 for a nation’s-best .828
winning percentage.

2009: A first period goal by senior Brandon Yip and a
sparkling 32-save performance by freshman netminder Kieran Millan gave the
Terriers a 1-0 win over UMass-Lowell in the Hockey East title game at TD
Garden. The championship, in the conference's silver anniversary season, was
BU's seventh Hockey East tournament win. Three seasons earlier, Yip’s overtime
goal gave the Terriers their sixth conference title, 2-1, over BC. Millan was
named the tournament's Most Valuable Player and was joined on the
all-tournament team by co-captains Matt Gilroy and John McCarthy and by Colin
Wilson. With the win, BU improved to 31-6-4 and earned the #1 seed for the NCAA
tournament.
